Susanna Ficklin is a ghost haunting Southern Appalachia. No one is sure when the haunting started, she’s been there as long as great, great meemaw can remember. You can tell she’s nearby when you smell the scent of chai or feel a twitch in your kidney.

Holding both an MFA and a BS in art, Susanna has been both a fine arts college instructor and a freelance illustrator for years. She’ll draw just about anything you want, except horses. Don’t ask her to do that.
